Plant Disease Theme Discussion
Up to Theme discussion
Does anyone have a particular question that they would like to address in this theme (like a specific type of plant or group of plants)? Or maybe it might be better to determine what information is out there (a collection of data on a plants with regard to the theme) so that we can start trying to determine the direction we would like to go with this.
If you have any other ideas let us know.
It seems that we can all meet on Thursday at 2-4pm (I think that costa rica's time zone is the same as central time, but let me know if this is not the case.)
Nice to meet you all, I would agree with Melissa about meet us. Then I tell them that I'm working my thesis in the coffee crop: evaluating the resitance/susceptibility to E. vastatrix and H. hampei in the coffee crop.
See you on Thursday,
Severo Ignacio Cárdenas
My name is Matthew and I am one of Dr. Garrett's students at Kansas State. I am working on a Masters. For my thesis project I am measuring resistance gene and genome diversity of big bluestem (prairie grass) across a precipitation gradient.
I will be available for a meeting during the following hours of the week:
M: 8-12 CST, 1-6 CST
T: 9:30-11:30 CST, 2:30-4:30 CST
W: 8-12 CST, 1-3:30 CST
R: 9:30-11:30 CST, 1-4 CST
F: 8-11 CST, 12-3:30 CST
I am available for using skype.
My interests are in host plant resistance, resistance genes, durability of resistance, and the spatial side of epidemiology.
Hi All,
2-4 CST on Thursday (today) won't work this week, but perhaps we can switch to that time next week starting Thursday March 1 at 2-4 CST.
Can we plan to meet tomorrow, Friday, Feb 23, 3:30 CST, using skype?
And then, if it works for everyone's schedules, switch to Thursday at 2 next week.
I will also send this message via e-mail.
Look forward to talking with you,
Karen
