Hi all,

I'm Adam Sparks currently a student at K-State with Drs. Garrett and DeWolf.  My interests in this are similar to Severo's, the effects of gene diversity, or lack of in most crop monocultures on disease, is there a way to promote more genetic biodiversity and reduce crop disease?

I've worked with plant disease occurrence patterns on a county/region basis and spent some time thinking about disease spread.  Also of interest to me are the effects of disease in other areas on the area of interest as it spreads to the area of interest.

I'm available for Skype, adam.h.sparks.  I've also uploaded my CV if you want to take a look at it.

Hi,

My name is Megan Kennelly and I'm a faculty member at Kansas State.  I do a lot of extension work.  I cover all the horticultural commodities, including fruit, vegetables, trees, turf, flowers, etc.

For scheduling, my schedule is irregular throughout March since I have a lot of extension travel around the state as we have various spring training sessions.  So, I will jump in when I can.
