issues in landscape analysis
This is meant to be a discussion of the landscape analysis, and particularly, the potential problems we might face. We will be trying to distinguish two separate responses from our data: the endogenous autocorrelation from spatial ecological processes (like dispersal), and exogenous spatial dependence on environmental variables. The two are both fundamental spatial processes, but arise from very different circumstances that have implications for our modeling and analysis.
