I'm a second-year Master's student in Conservation Bioloy at Columbia, and have worked for a number of years for nonprofit organizations in the Western United States. My interest is in achieving a fundamental reordering of the practice of American agriculture through research, education, advocacy and litigation. I am particularly interested in finding a means to redirect subsidies that go toward livestock and feed crop production to small producers that make specific effort to protect ecosystem services.
