I;m a first year PhD student in Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Biology at Columbia University. My interests center on understanding the interplay between invertebrate-mediated ecological function and community structure and the ecological and economic relevance of invertebrate ecosystem services under various extinction scenarios.
At present, in doctoral work with the American Museum of Natural History in New York, I’m focusing on the ecological impacts of the dung beetle community disassembly following subsistence mammal hunting regimes in Amazonas state, Brazil.
