Theme selection logistics

Posted by Stacy Philpott at January 26. 2007
Hi All,
I'm starting to think a bit about how we would go about coordinating the student theme selection (coupled with making sure each theme has an appropriate number of students) and am curious to know about how many students we have enrolled in the class at each institution. I have 2 at UT. -Stacy

There are either 11 or 12 at Columbia -- one student is on the fence and I haven't heard from her.

In terms of HOW to decide who gets placed in each theme... I could set up another discussion forum OR a database style entry area where students can enter their top three choices (likely weighted by preference) and then set up groups according to all of your preferences for the number of students per theme. It might be a logistical nightmare for each of you to set up groups individually. Let me know if you'd rather I do the compilation of theme choices. If so, I'll work on a good system.
