Useful websites??
Up to Literature Search - Round 1
Hi All.
Here is a list of websites that I compiled from various sources when I was searching for information on West Coast linear habitats. I can't say for sure how many of them might have anything useful, but I don't have the time to go through all of them, so was hoping that we cold share the burden. The idea is to just poke around (type in 'hedgerow' or 'buffer' if the site has a Search option) and/or see if there might be someone to e-mail about potential datasets.
The first set are national (US), many of which have state subdivisions -- so for those, you should look within your region to see if there is anything useful. I have also included a few state-specific sites for which there might be comparable info for other states??
Finally, there was a list of cost-share programs which I also included in case we decide to include some economic analysis...
Here is the list:
http://www.nacdnet.org/buffers/ (National)
http://www.nrcs.usda.gov
(national; also state by state = e.g., http://www.md.usda.gov)
Also, www.nrcs.usda.gov/technical/efotg (state by state)
And, http://www.whmi.nrcs.usda.gov/technical/buffer.htm (state by state)
