Google spreadsheet

Hi all--

We now have a preliminary way to organize papers for our theme group work, up here:

http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pYWFxA7Rd251qfu72mC7GCQ

Click on 'edit this page' and then log in to your google account -- if you don't have one, you can make one easily. If you want a Gmail account, Fabrice, Brenda, and I at least have plenty to share.
Note that if you're Mac user, you'll need to use Firefox (www.mozilla.org) do use this.

So, what to put on here? We're thinking that right now it would be best to put just about any paper that you think fits this criteria:

1. Investigated ~2 or more land use intensities (forest vs. plantation, conventional vs. organic ag)
2. Measured the species richess (S), shannon-wiener index (H'), simpson index (D), or some other aspect of taxonomic diversity
3. Also a. placed species in to functional groups, b. used a functional diversity index for these communities, or c. provided some trait data which would let us figure out the functional diversity of the communities.
--> if they didn't do any of these, but you think we can get good trait data for these species from the literature elsewhere, hold on to it and we'll discuss if we want to go that route.

Does this seem workable? Feel free to make additions to the spreadsheet if you think there need to be more columns (although we want to keep it relatively simple..)

cheers,

Dan
