Here are some thoughts about choice of the journal for submission of the ES in vineyards manuscript

?First choice: American Journal of Enology and Viticulture

            This has the advantage of reaching vineyard managers

            But it might take some work to make a review of this topic appeal to the editors

?Second choice: Ecological Applications

            Not sure that a review like this is a good fit here

            Would reach ecologists, but less likely to reach managers

?Third choice: Agriculture, Ecosystems and the Environment

            Perhaps an easy fit, but less likely to reach managers

Probably not an extension publication at this point

Other possibilities:

California Agriculture (perhaps too limited a readership?)

The 3 trade journals I know of  that have wide readership are Vineyard & Winery Management, Practical Winery & Vineyard, and Wine Business Monthly.

They all have acticles on vineyard topics.  They aren't as prestigious as AJEV, may not be peer-reviewed, and I am not sure how long an article they would run.  If there is interest in this type of journal, I could get that info.
