class times
Up to Help!class times
Posted by Kimberly N. Russell at January 18. 2007Hi Ashley,
Would it be possible to put somewhere on the website the day and time that each class is meeting at each institution? My class meets Fridays from 12 to 2 (Eastern Time).
Thanks,
Kim

Posted by Fabrice De Clerck at January 18. 2007CATIE will be meeting on Wednesdays from 2-4. However this will only hold for the first three lectures. Asheley, I are still 4 weeks aways from the students having to select a theme, but is there a way that we can do this via the web?

Posted by Stacy Philpott at January 18. 2007UT meets on Thursdays from 2-4 EST. I have scheduled class for the first four weeks, and then periodically to "check in" in case the students need real human time (as opposed to chat). The dates are on the UT syllabus.

Posted by Ashley Conrad-Saydah at January 20. 2007I'm going to create class times and office hours documents and post all of this info there (as word doc attachments for easy downloading). I'll keep them updated as things change.
As for web selection of themes, I thought you were all going to collect students' top three choices and then the synthesis would happen. I'm happy to arrange this via the web though--I can set up a forum for students to submit their top three choices (to me only?) and then randomize and place people into groups. This is definitely worthy of further discussion. How would you all like groups to be created?
Did all of you remember to sign up for/log in to Chat? It's on the site, but an external link.
Hope you are all getting excited for the first official week!
